Port of Baltimore Hurricane Sandy relief collection set for Dec. 7

    Baltimore Port Alliance and friends of the Port of Baltimore will be collecting household goods for people in New York and New Jersey effected by Hurricane Sandy on Friday, Dec. 7, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the parking lot across from the 2200 building on Broening Highway.
    A 40-foot container will be provided for the following items: bed linens, towels, blankets, dishes, pots and pans, kitchen gadgets, appliances, personal care products (soap, deodorant, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes and feminine care products), baby care items (diapers, wipers and formula), children’s toys and books.
    Donated goods should be in original boxes and multiple items should be packed in boxes noting the content.
