Days after the wrong-way crash on I-695 that killed 3-year-old Lily Kelley, two groups are raising funds for the family members left behind.
The accident occured on the Curtis Creek Drawbridge on Nov. 25 where, according to police, a vehicle was traveling the wrong way on the outer loop of I-695; it hit the car carrying Lily, her mother and her infant sister.
Both Lily’s mother, Kimberly Taylor, and 3-month-old Mackenzie Kelley were injured but survived the crash.
One of the groups raising funds for the Kelley family is Deville Ink on Eastern Avenue, where Lily’s father Pat Kelley works as a tattoo artist.
While the tattoo parlor is planning a benefit concert for a later date, those wishing to donate to the Kelley family now can visit the shop at 5920 Eastern Ave. or visit www.devilleink.com.
Also collecting donations for the Kelley family is the Rugged Cross Motorcycle Club, of which Pat Kelley is a member.
Those interested in donating can send checks or money orders to Rugged Cross MC, PO Box 840, Havre de Grace, MD 21078 or contact Deacon@
ruggedcrossmc-md.com
Please make all checks payable to Rugged Cross and write Kelley family on the memo line.
All funds raised by both groups will go toward medical bills and funeral expenses for the Kelley family.
