•   Let’s Talk about Books, a book discussion group for adults, meets Tuesday, Feb. 5, at 7 p.m. Call before the meeting to get important preparation information.
•   Computer Know-How,  a class for basic computer skills for patrons ages 13 and older, meets Monday, Feb. 4, at 2 p.m. Registration required.
•   Valentine Story Time with stories, songs and activities for children ages 2 to 5 with an adult, meets Wednesday, Feb. 13, at 10 a.m.
•   Anti-Valentine’s Day for youths 8 to 14, Saturday, Feb. 9, at 2 p.m., featuring games and other activities. Snacks provided. Registration begins 1:30 p.m.
•   Introduction to the Internet, a class covering basic skills, is set for Monday, Feb. 11, at 7 p.m. Registration required.
•   Thursday Knit and Stitch, a drop-in knitting and crocheting group for patrons ages 13 and older, meets Thursdays, Jan. 31, Feb. 7 and 14,  from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. All levels of experience welcome. Bring your own projects or get ideas from the library’s large selection of craft books. This is not a class, but group leader Paula Dixon can answer basic questions.
•   North Point Library   is open Sundays from 1 to 5 p.m. until April 28, 2013.
•   Preschool Story Time for children ages 2 to 5 with an adult meets Wednesday, Feb. 6. at 10 a.m. Activities include stories and songs, followed by play time.
•   Baby Boosters Story Time for infants and toddlers 23 months and younger with an adult meets Wednesday, Feb. 6, at 11 a.m. Activities include stories, music, movement and rhyme, followed by play time. Registration is required.
•   Computer Room for independent work in a quiet environment for patrons ages 13 and older is open Thursdays from 4 to 7 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
