Free programs at the Baltimore County Public

•   Let’s Talk about Books, a book discussion group, will meet Tuesday, March 5, at 7 p.m. Call prior to the session for important preparation information.  
•   Lego Fun for children ages 6 to 12, Saturday, March 2, at 2 p.m. Children 6 to 7 must be accompanied by an adult. Registration required.
•   Thursday Knit and Stitch, a drop-in knitting and crocheting group for patrons ages 13 and older, meets Thursdays, Feb. 28 and March 7,  from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. All levels of experience welcome. Bring your own projects or get ideas from the library’s large selection of craft books. This is not a class, but group leader Paula Dixon can answer basic questions.
•   North Point Library   is open Sundays from 1 to 5 p.m. until April 28, 2013.
•   Preschool Story Time for children ages 2 to 5 with an adult meets Wednesday, March 6, at 10 a.m. Activities include stories and songs, followed by play time.
•   Baby Boosters Story Time for infants and toddlers 23 months and younger with an adult meets Wednesday, March 6, at 11 a.m. Activities include stories, music, movement and rhyme, followed by play time. Registration is required.
•   Computer Room for independent work in a quiet environment for patrons ages 13 and older is open Thursdays from 4 to 7 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.

•   Preschool Story Time for children 2 to 5 years old with an adult meets Tuesdays, March  5 and 12, at 10:30 a.m. Activities include stories and songs, followed by play time. Registration required.
•   Baby Boosters Story Time for infants and toddlers ages 23 months and younger with an adult meets Tuesdays, March 5 and 12, at 11:30 a.m. Activities include movement, rhymes, stories and music, followed by play time. Registration is required. Call the library to register.
•   Video gaming for teens, a venue for playing Super Mario Bros, Just Dance and other Wii games, is set for Thursdays, March 7 and 14, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Registration required.
