St. Luke’s Lutheran has interim pastor

St. Luke’s Evangelical Lutheran Church has announced Carol Sipes as the church’s new interim pastor. Sipes attended Lutheran Collegiatte Bible Institute in Teaneck, N.J., and Lutheran Seminary in Gettysburg, Pa., and was ordained in 1996. She has pastored full-time at three churches since then and worked part-time at several others. “Praise the Lord,” Sipes said of her new job at St. Lukes, “I’m again doing that to which God has called me — parish ministry.”
