Family Crisis Center of Baltimore County is seeking monetary donations for services to victims of domestic abuse.
According to a press release, the slow economic recovery, as well as cuts in government, foundation and private funding have left the center struggling to remain open.
A growing problem, reported cases of domestic violence in Dundalk have increased in recent years. In 2011, 2,320 cases of domestic abuse were reported in Dundalk alone.
For over 30 years the Family Crisis Center has provided vital services, such as food and shelter, to many of these victims.
