Kalimba music for school-aged children, Monday, July 8, at 7 p.m. Carl  Winters will introduce participants to the African thumb piano known as the kalimba using call and response, singing, chanting, puppets and props. Children younger than 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
Holiday closing: All BCPL branches will be closed Thursday, July 4, in honor of Independence Day. Mobile library units will not run on that day.
Preschool Story Time for children 2 to 5 years old with an adult meets Tuesdays, July 9 and 16, at 10:30 a.m. Activities include stories, songs and bouncing, followed by play time. Registration required.
Baby Boosters Story Time for infants and toddlers ages 23 months and younger with an adult meets Tuesdays, July 9 and 16, at 11:30 a.m. Activities include movement, rhymes, stories and music, followed by play time. Registration is required.
Video gaming for teens, a venue for playing Super Mario Bros., Just Dance and other Wii games, meets Thursdays,  July 11 and 18, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Registration required.
Lego Fun for children 6 to 12, Monday, July 15, at 6 p.m. Supplies provided. Children younger than 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
