Health care meeting to cover changes in coverage for disabled

   On Our Own/One Voice will host a community meeting about changes coming to Medical Assistance and PAC (Primary Adult Care) in 2014 on Friday, Nov. 15, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at On Our Own/One Voice Recovery Community Center, 1 Market Place.
    Kristen Robb-McGrath, assistant for Maryland Health Connection and an independent living specialist for people with disabilities, will discuss how to ensure continued coverage after PAC is discontinued on Jan. 1.  
    She will also review services provided by the IMAGE (Independent Marylanders Achieving Growth through Empowerment) Center for people with psychiatric, physical and developmental disabilities.
    After the meeting, assistance will be given to individuals who need help signing up for new Medical Assistance or health insurance plans in the  computer lab at the site.
