•   Board game day for youths ages 6 to 16 takes place Tuesday, Dec. 10, from 4 to 6 p.m. Children 7 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
•   Teen Tuesdays with crafts and activities meets Tuesday, Dec. 3, from 5  to 6 p.m.
•   Xbox Gaming for teens  meets every Wednesday from 3:30 to 5 p.m.
•   Wii Gaming for teens meets every Thursday from 3:30 to 5  p.m.
•   Lego Fun for youths 6 to 12 meets every Monday from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Supplies provided. Children younger than 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
•   Preschool Story Time for children 2 to 5 years old with an adult meets every Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Activities include stories, songs and bouncing, followed by play time. Registration required.
•   Baby Boosters Story Time for infants and toddlers ages 23 months and younger with an adult meets every Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. Activities include movement, rhymes, stories and music, followed by play time. Registration  required.

•   Wrap bracelet workshop for youths ages 11 to 17, Wednesday, Dec. 12, at 5:30 p.m.
•   Patapsco Show Choir Holiday concert takes place Tuesday, Dec 10, at 6:30 p.m. The Patapsco High School and Center for the Arts choir performs holiday favorites for patrons of all ages. Children age 7 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
•   Introduction to the Internet meets Thursday, Dec. 12, at 2 p.m.
•   Tablets and e-Readers, a brief introduction to portable platform readers, will cover how to download e-books from BCPL branches and offer participants hands-on practice on Monday, Dec. 9, at 6 p.m.
  Computer know-how for basic computer skills meets  Tuesday, Dec. 10, at 2 p.m. Registration required.
•   Let’s Talk About Books, a book discussion group, will discuss participants’ favorite books on Tuesday, Dec. 3, at 7 p.m.
•   Lego Fun for youths ages 6 to 15 meets Saturday, Dec. 7, at 2 p.m. Supplies provided. Children ages 6 and 7 must be accompanied by an adult. Registration required.
•   Smoking cessation classes have started and meet every Monday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. until Dec. 9. The classes are free and include free nicotine gum, patches and lozenges. Registration is required; call the library to register or for more information.
•   For Youth by Youth, a practical guide for teenage living for youths ages 11 to 17, meets Thursdays at 4 p.m.
•   One-on-One computer help is available Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 to 7 p.m. and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the computer room. A librarian will assist in setting up e-mail accounts, online applications and more.
•   Preschool Story Time for children 2 to 5 years old with an adult meets every Wednesday at 10 a.m. Activities include stories, songs and bouncing, followed by play time. Registration required.
•   Baby Story Time for toddlers 23 months and younger with an adult meets every Wednesday at 11 a.m. Activities include stories, songs and rhyming, followed by play time. Registration required.
•   Thursday Knit and Stitch, a drop-in knitting and crocheting group for patrons ages 13 and older meets every Thursday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. All levels of experience welcome. Bring your own projects or get ideas from the library’s large selection of craft books. This is not a class, but group leader Paula Dixon can answer basic questions.
•   Computer Room for independent work in a quiet environment for patrons ages 13 and older is open Tuesdays from 4 to 7 p.m., Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursdays from 4 to 7 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. A library card is required.
