•   Children’s book workshop for school-age youths meets Saturday, May 10, at 2 p.m. Authors Matthew Swanson and Robbi Behr talk about writing, read from their books and lead a hands-on workshop on illustrating and binding books. Registration required. Children younger than 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
•   Stories about Mom, story time and crafts for children ages 6 to 12, meets Thursday, May 8, at 6 p.m. Children younger than 8 must be accompanied by an adult. 
•   Pets on Wheels with a trained dog for children ages 6 to 12 visits Sunday, May 4, at 2 p.m. Children younger than 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Registration required.
•   Let’s Talk about Books, a book discussion group, will review What’s So Funny: My Hilarious Life by Tim Conway, Tuesday, May 6, at 7 p.m. 
•   Lego Fun for children ages 6 to 12 is planned for Saturday, May 3, at 2 p.m.  Supplies provided. Registration required. Children younger than 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
•   Anime and manga night for teens, Tuesday, April 29, at 7 p.m.
•   Small business counseling will be available to individual patrons, Monday, April 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Registration required.
•   Art Class with Raeann, for school age youth, meets Saturday, April 26, at 1:30 p.m. Participants should bring an old shirt or smock for creating their own artwork in. Registration required.
•   For Youth by Youth, a practical guide for teenage living for youths ages 11 to 17, meets Thursdays at 4 p.m.
•   One-on-One computer help is available for setting up e-mail accounts, online applications and more, Tuesdays and Thurdays from 4 to 7 p.m. and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
•   Preschool Story Time for children 2 to 5 years old with an adult meets every Wednesday at 10 a.m. Activities include stories, songs and bouncing, followed by play time. Registration required.
•   Baby Story Time for toddlers 23 months and younger with an adult meets every Wednesday at 11 a.m. Activities include stories, songs and rhyming, followed by play time. Registration required.
•   Thursday Knit and Stitch, a drop-in knitting and crocheting group for patrons ages 13 and older meets every Thursday  from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. All
levels of experience welcome. Bring your own projects or get ideas from the library’s large selection of craft books. This is not a class, but group leader Paula Dixon can answer basic questions.
•   Computer Room for independent work in a quiet environment for patrons ages 13 and older is open Tuesdays from 4 to 7 p.m., Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursdays from 4 to 7 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. A library card is required.

•   Teen Tuesdays, crafts and activities for teens, meets Tuesday, May 6, from 5 to 6 p.m.
•   LED sculpture lab for children in grades 1 to 6 meets Monday, April 28, at 7 p.m. Supplies provided. Registration required. Participants younger than 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
•   Board Game Day for youths ages 6 to 16 meets the second and fourth Tuesday of every month from 4 to 6 p.m. Games and snacks provided. Children younger than 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
•   Tech 10, basic technology skills for patrons age 13 and older, meets Mondays from 6:30 to 8 p..m. Call the library for details.
•   Wii kids gaming for youths ages 5 to 11 meets every Friday from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Children younger than 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
•   Xbox teen gaming meets every Wednesday from 3:30 to 5 p.m. 
•   Wii teen gaming meets every Thursday from 3:30 to 5 p.m.
