Christie (Trionfo) Quigley, a 2001 graduate of Dundalk High School, was killed on Saturday after a bus crash on the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

Quigley was 30 and was about six months pregnant with her second child.

A native of Eastwood, Quigley coached the women’s lacrosse team at Seton Hill (Pa.) University.

The team was en route to a game at Millersville University when the bus reportedly went off the road and crashed into a tree. The bus driver, Anthony Guaetta, 61, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Quigley was flown to the Penn State Hershey Medical Center, where she died from injuries suffered in the crash.

The other 21 people on the bus, players and coaches, survived the crash with a variety of injuries.

Quigley played field hockey and girls’ lacrosse at Dundalk High and was a three-time Dundalk Eagle Spring Athlete of the Season.

She earned several all-division and all-county honors in both sports.

Quigley was married and had a young son, Gavin. A graduate of Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, she came to Seton Hill after coaching at Erskine College in South Carolina, where she started the school’s women’s lacrosse program.
