Program for displaced steelworkers offered

The Baltimore County and City Small Business Resource Centers are offering a Contractor  Development Program for dislocated RG Steel employees and others affected who are enrolled in the Trade Program.
    The five-day program is designed to assist skilled trades people start and grow their own businesses through an in-depth business curriculum. The program will be covering start-up considerations such as business plan development, job costing, bidding and government contract management, as well as technical assistance and networking opportunities.
    The program will be held on March 25 to 29, with the Monday session from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Tuesday though Friday sessions will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. All sessions will be held at the Workforce Development Center at Eastpoint 7930 Eastern Blvd.
