How do I submit something to The Dundalk Eagle?

If you can’t find the section from the home page or elsewhere on this site, you can submit information and photos here. We prefer jpg or tif versions of photos, if possible.

Why can’t I read the entire paper online?

We place selected articles and other features on our Web site for free. Other content is reserved for print and online subscribers. Those who subscribe online receive almost all news and feature content that appears in the print edition and will have limited free access to our archives when they’re available.

How do I buy a subscription to The Dundalk Eagle’s print edition or the online edition?

Who do I contact about a problem with home delivery or another subscription question?

You can reach our circulation department here.

Can I buy a back issue?

Yes, but back issues have limited availability after four weeks. Some older editions are not available. Back issues cost 50 cents each if less than four weeks old, $2 each if older, plus any applicable postage fees. Please call 410-288-6060.

Can I buy a photo I’ve seen in The Dundalk Eagle’s print or online edition?

Photos taken by Eagle staff members (but not freelancers or others) can be purchased. Please call for more information: 410-288-6060.

How can I buy an ad in the print edition?

What’s wrong with the archives (Search)?

When we changed our Web host with the April 30, 2009, edition, we had to rebuild our archives. This project will take some time to complete as we work backwards through 10 years of material. Your patience is appreciated. Archivesfor now go back only to April 30, 2009, so access to them is free for everyone (even nonsubscribers) until further notice.

What if I want to find something that’s not available in the online archives?

The only option now for material that has not yet been updated in the online archives or that never appeared online is to make a request in person (4 N. Center Place in Dundalk), by phone (410-288-6060) or by e-mail and pay for the service. We charge $10 to find something if you can identify the publication date within two months; otherwise, the research fee is $12.50 per hour. So the more information you have about when an item was published, the easier it will be for us to find it and the less you’ll have to pay.

How can I get a frameable copy of an article from the print edition?

We sell glossy copies suitable for framing. The cost is $10 per article. Please call 410-288-6060.

When is The Dundalk Eagle published?

The publication date is Thursday of each week. Stores in the area begin stocking each new issue Wednesday night. Batlimore-area subscribers receive the paper on Thursday.
