One year after a man’s body was discovered floating in Back River, investigators are still unable to identify him, Baltimore County Police said on Monday.
Detectives have not been able to identify the man through an autopsy, DNA or fingerprints, according to a police press release.
The cause of death remains undetermined.
On Sept. 11, 2011 at 12:30 p.m., police responded to a report of a body in Back River under the I-695 bridge.
There were no signs of foul play, and the body had been in the water for a significant period of time.
A county police forensic artist has completed a skull reconstruction in an attempt to determine what the victim may look like.
The victim is a white male, 40-60 years old. Detectives believe he may be from the Dundalk area.
Anyone with information about the identity of the victim is asked to contact the Baltimore County Police at 410-307-2020.
