The art program at Logan follows the Baltimore County Public Schools visual art curriculum. The students at Logan receive instruction on a wide range of artistic mediums, including paint, oil pastel and clay. They receive hands on demonstration and learn about their own history through art making and art appreciation. A few of my classroom goals are to expose my students to different cultures through art making and to increase self esteem through art production. I feel that when children are given the right motivation and tools to complete a task, they can accomplish anything. I am very proud of my students’ artwork at Logan. They surprise me every day with their skill and determination.
