At 100 years young, Reva Abshire celebrated hercentenary birthday on Sunday, July 29.
Her daughters, Pat King and Betty Polanowski, held a large party at Rosedale Gardens for her. She was joined by a combination of daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren totaling five generations, as well as many well-wishing extended family members, friends and neighbors.
The theme of Reva’s party was “Reva Rides Again,” which featured her on a motorcycle and was the picture on her invitation. She received many unique presents, one of which was a motorcycle riding vest with her name and state of birth emblem on the back.
“This was truly a joyous day honoring Reva, a woman who has lived life to the fullest and continues to bring smiles and laughter to all she meets,” her family noted. “May God continue to bless her and allow her to bless us with her presence for another 100 years.”
