• Sunday, December 29:

Pinland Bowling Lanes, 10 N. Dundalk Ave., will host a Bear Creek Dance Rock and Bowl Fundraiser from 1-4 p.m. $15 at the door for three hours of bowling, a slice of pizza, soda, and shoe rental. There will be a 50/50, raffle baskets and a bake table. Five people will be booked to a lane during the fundraiser. Groupons will not be accepted.

• Tuesday, December 31:

American Legion Post 38, 3300 Dundalk Ave., from 9 p.m.-2 a.m. It will have a limited open bar, music by Jaded Love and dinner catered by M&M Superior. The dinner will consist of: seafood alfredo, sirloin steak, mashed potatoes, brussel sprouts, a dinner roll and dessert. A continental breakfast will be available until 2 a.m. Champaign and party favors will be given to attendants. Tickets are $55 per person or $90 per couple.

• Thursday, Jan. 2:

Sen. Johnny Ray Salling, R-6, Del. Ric Metzgar, R-6, and Del. Bob Long, R-6, will host a Pre-Session Town Hall Meeting at the North Point Library, 1716 Merritt Blvd. from 6-8 p.m. They will discuss the upcoming 2020 session. Winter Owls: Dundalk, Seasoned Mariner with artist Katie Detrich will be held from 6:30-9 p.m. Katie will guide you though the creative process while you enjoy time with friends and family. Your ticket includes art materials and instruction. Check-in starts at 6 p.m. Appetizers, dinner and drinks will be available during the first hour. Paint instruction will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. Artwork is pre-drawn. Cancellations due to weather will be rescheduled or refunded within 7-10 business days. Battle Grove Elementary School is hosting a fundraiser at Texas Roadhouse, 1736 Merritt Blvd., from 3-9 p.m. Amazing food, raffles, bake table and more will be available for purchase. The Greater Dundalk Chamber of Commerce will host a luncheon and cash bingo at American Legion Post 38, 3300 Dundalk Ave., beginning at 11 a.m. Lunch will be served at noon and bingo will start at 1 p.m. Tickets are $25 per person and include lunch and all games. Drug City Liquor Store will host a Whiskey Tasting Night, beginning at 6 p.m. Join Drug City for a free tasting night which will feature Old Rip Van Winkle and Utopia beer along with many other pours available for sampling. One lucky winner will have the opportunity to purchase a bottle of Old Rip Van Winkle for $59.99. • Friday, December 20:

The Dundalk-Patapsco Neck Historical Society Train Garden Committee will host the annual Dundalk Luminaria Night, beginning at 6 p.m. In addition to the display of luminaria, white paper bag lanterns will be displayed throughout Veterans Park. The evening will include caroling and outdoor musical performances, weather permitting. Light refreshments will be served to all attendees. The highlight of the event will be the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus by fire truck at approximately 6:30 p.m. Families will have the opportunity to visit Santa inside the museum, explore a vintage fire truck outdoors, and the train garden will operate additional hours as necessary, based on public turnout.

• Saturday, January 25:

The Patapsco High School Boosters Fundraiser Class of 2022 will hold a public event at Pinland Bowling Lanes at 10 N. Dundalk Ave. from 6-9 p.m. Cost of admission is $10 per person. Shoe rental is concluded. A bake table, 50/50 and raffle baskets will be available. Twenty percent of Duckpond sales will be donated to the organization.

Join Artist Katie Detrich at Seasoned Mariner, {/span}601 Wise Ave, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Your ticket includes art materials and instruction only. Please come early for dinner, appetizers and drinks. Enjoy a night filled with landscape painting techniques, famous artist quotes and laughter. You will receive step-by-step instruction from Katie. This class is suitable for beginners. you will use acrylic paint, fan brush, 1-inch brush, 2-inch brush, liner brush, painting knife and a mixing palette. Attire from the 1980s is encouraged. Everyone who dresses in their favorite 1980s outfit will receive a special gift from Katie. Check-in is at 6 p.m. Painting instruction will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. Cancellations due to winter weather will result in rescheduling or a refund within 7-10 business days. The Greater Dundalk Chamber of Commerce will host its annual St. Patrick’s Day Celebration at the Seasoned Mariner, 601 Wise Ave., from 6-9 p.m. Food, drinks, live Irish music, dancers, raffles and more will be available. Proceeds will support the St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

• Saturday, March 14:

The St. Patrick’s Day Parade, organized by the Greater Dundalk Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, will begin at 11 a.m. The parade route will begin at Logan Village Shopping Center and will end at Heritage Park and Dundalk Elementary School. The Patapsco High School and Center for the Arts Class of 2022 will host Bingo Night at the Wise Avenue Fire Company, 214 Wise Ave., beginning at 5 p.m. Come out and support the Class of 2022 and play bingo. Doors open at 5 p.m. and bingo begins at 6 p.m.

Rain or shine, people will clean up the section of Historic Bread and Cheese Creek from the Berkshire Area to North Point Road. Registration will be at 2408 Plainfield Rd. This event will be run in conjunction with the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay’s Annual Project Clean Stream and American River’s Nation River Cleanup.

“We run our cleanups as a family event with plenty of ways for volunteers to participate. We welcome every type of person of every ability level to contribute and assist with the cleanup. Though it is true we will need people to dig out shopping carts and haul trash to the dumpsters, we need people to run water, food, tools, and trash bags (both empty and full) to individuals in the creek. People to sort recyclables from the debris removed. People will be needed to help at registration, setup food and snacks as well as many other less strenuous activities. We are also authorized to sign-off on Community Service and Service Learning Hours for students. The more people we have, the easier the work will be for everyone. We will provide lunch and snacks as well as gloves. A limited number of tools are available for sign-out, but suggest bringing your own if you have them.”
