Martin State Airport celebrates Open Cockpit Day!

There has been a UFO sighting over the Glenn L. Martin Maryland Aviation Museum the past several weeks and this initially had been attributed to viewers of recent TV shows on UFOs. However, when Museum volunteers arrived at the Museum’s flightline on Sunday, they discovered an alien craft had landed at the wooded lot next to the 404 Martineer Airliner. This strange sight, characteristic of an extraterrestrial spaceship has matched the description of area residents’ reporting sightings over the area.

As the 50th anniversary of the moon landing will be highlighted on Saturday, July 20th at the Glenn L. Martin Maryland Aviation Museum’s Open Cockpit Day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., this UFO will be on display for visitors to the event. The Glenn L. Martin Company ’s Titan II rocket built in Middle River launched the Project Gemini missions used for developing Apollo moon landing techniques. Middle River resident and UFO follower Ron Alder will attend the event to investigate the UFO landing scene.

In addition to viewing the UFO, visitors to Open Cockpit Day can explore inside the Huey helicopter, the 1952 404 passenger airliner, the B57 Canberra and other planes. The last bus to the aircraft departs at 12:15pm. Adults $7, Children $5. Visit the flea market vendors outside rain or shine 8am to 1pm, with this market access being free to all attendees. 410-682-6122
