Knights bring back fish fry
The Dundalk Knights of Columbus are bringing back their “World Famous Fish Fry” on Friday, Oct. 22 from noon to 6 p.m.
The fish fry will be held at the Knights of Columbus hall at 2111 Eilers Ave., Dundalk, 21222, next to the Baltimore County Firehouse #6.
Alaskan Pollock, Western Fries, coleslaw, a roll, a dessert and a drink are included in the price, $12 for eat-in and $13 for carry-out. Beer and wine are also available, at an additional cost.

Dog park renewal, information session slated
The WAGS Dog Park at St. Helena Park will be hosting a renewal and new member information session on Oct. 22, 23 and 24.
On Friday, meet at the dog park from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. On Saturday and Sunday, meet from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
New members will need proof of a current city or county license, and dogs must be spayed or neutered and have proof of a rabies shot and other vaccinations, including DHPP administered by a state-licenses veterinarian. Bring copies to attach to an application.
Existing members must complete the application form in order to update the license and rabies tag numbers. Renewals must bring copies of all vet forms and proof of your Baltimore county animal license.
Membership fees are $25 for an individual (up to two dogs and $10 for each additional dog).
Costume Contest, Trunk or Treat planned
The Watersedge Rec Council will be hosting a Trunk or Treat, costume contest and pumpkin picking on Saturday, Oct. 23 at Watersedge Park starting at 2 p.m.
Those wishing to give out candy at the trunk or treat should arrive by 1 p.m. Trick or treating begins at 2 p.m., and the costume contest will begin at 3 p.m.
There is no registration fee to give out candy, but please only give out prepackaged candy, no self-bagged items.
There will be trophies for the best decorated vehicle, as well as kids’ choice and parents’ choice.

West Inverness hosting fall harvest fest
Rain or shine, there will be a fall harvest festival at the Inverness Center at 8301 Lynch Road on Saturday, Oct. 23 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Admission is free for the festival, which will feature vendors, crafters and flea marketers, as well as games, pumpkin painting, raffles and a flower wheel.

Chamber hosting farmers market
The Greater Dundalk Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its weekly community farmers market on Saturdays through Oct. 30, and participants are offering fresh fruit, veggies, jams, jellies, honey, eggs and more. The market is held every Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the corner of Dunmanway and Shipping Place in Historic Dundalk Town Center.
Community group to host Trunk or Treat
EHS Community Affairs will be hosting its first Trunk or Treat on Sunday, Oct. 24 from 4 to. 6 p.m. at 2023 Merritt Ave. There will be vendors selling their goods as well as a photo booth, face painting, snacks, and of course....treats to be collected!
‘58 luncheon scheduled
Dundalk Class of ’58’s fall luncheon will be held on Friday, Oct. 29th at the Seasoned Mariner at 601 Wise Ave., Dundalk, MD 21222. Happy Hour is from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Lunch is starting at 1 p.m. Payment by separate checks.

Trunk or Treat at Eastpoint
Eastpoint Mall will host a Trunk or Treat at Eastpoint Mall on Friday, Oct. 29 from 5:30 to 7 p.m., in partnership with the Eastern Regional Lions, Dundalk Optimist Club, Holabird Middle School PTSA and Dangerously Delicious Pies.
The Trunk or Treat will be in the overflow parking lot off of North Point Boulevard, between JCPenney and the food court. Parking will be available in the Value City parking lot. All patrons and participants will be required to wear face masks at all times.

Legion hosting trunk or treat
The Dundalk American Legion Post 38 sponsors its second annual ‘Trunk or Treat’ event. The event will be held in the parking lot and patio at 3300 Dundalk Ave., Dundalk, MD on Saturday, Oct. 30 from 12 noon until 4 p.m. This is a FREE event and will feature local businesses and individuals with Halloween decorated vehicles handing out various treats and goodies for neighborhood children along with the American Legion Post.
There will be a crafts table, free snacks and plenty of Halloween photo opportunities including a working prop ‘Electric Chair’ to try out. There will also be a Costume Contest (children 12 and under) and a contest for best decorated trunk.

DRC hosts family fall festival
Dundalk Renaissance will be hosting a free, fun family fall festival at Veterans Park on Shipping Place on Saturday, Oct. 30.
There will be kids’ activities, vendors, a costume contest for both kids (at noon) and dogs (at 11:30 a.m.) and trick-or-treating at Dundalk Town Center businesses starting at 1 p.m.
Registration for the costume contests begins at 9:45 a.m., and the event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
