CCBC is easing the financial strain of enrolling this fall with a plan that allows students to attend tuition-free. By providing students with supplemental aid after the awarding of scholarships, grants and COVID-19 relief funding, CCBC is removing the biggest barrier found in higher education: cost.

“We recognize the financial hardship that many students are facing and don’t want that to sideline their educational pursuits,” said CCBC President Sandra Kurtinitis. “We expect to offer a variety of course options for the fall – online, in-person and hybrid – and gladly welcome back our currently enrolled students. We also hope to see many new students, particularly those seeking an alternative to returning to their four-year universities due to COVID-19 concerns.”

Degree-seeking students are not the only ones to benefit from CCBC’s tuition-free offer. Anyone interested in acquiring new skills through workforce training programs also qualifies. With many workforce training programs taking a year or less to complete, it’s a great way to get job-ready in very little time.
