ESSEX — Calling all area foodies! A Food Network show will be filming in the area on June 11 and 12, and they want you to work with their celebrity chef and restauranteur to save Al’s Seafood!

Restaurant: Impossible says they are seeking “enthusiastic individuals” that would love to work with Robert Irvine and his talented renovation team as design and construction volunteers on the show.

Volunteers may be painting, crafting, constructing, remodeling, cleaning or decorating. Your task will be dependent on your skill set.

“We’re always looking for skilled contractors, electricians, plumbers, upholsters’ and painters to help out and donate their time,” said representatives for the show. “But we welcome all skill sets and skill levels always.”

The volunteer schedule is as follows:

Shift #1: Tuesday, June 11: noon to 7 p.m.

Shift #2: Tuesday, June 11: 7 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Shift #3: Wednesday, June 12: 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Although this is a volunteer position, meals will be provided. If you want to be a TV star, you must be 18 years or older to volunteer! All volunteers must sign an appearance release on site, and the showrunners ask that you wear “work clothing with no logos and sneakers or boots.”

Volunteers are not limited to one shift.
