Black History Discussion
On Thursday, February 21 from 10 — 11 a.m. in the Lobby. February is always National Black History Month, also known as National African American History Month. Make sure you stop by the Lobby to celebrate the achievements of African Americans and recognize their role in American History. No need to sign-up, just show up for this educational and honorary program.
On Friday, February 22 from 3 — 6 p.m. Join us at Phillip’s Inn for a fun, off-site get together. Be aware that no staff person will be present & that you may sit anywhere you would like. Make sure to m ingle w ith your fellow senior center members that attend! Bring friends; the more the merrier! Please note: This has changed from the previously advertised Poplar Inn.
Subs & a Movie
On, Friday, February 22 — Enjoy a sub lunch at Noon in the Cafeteria, followed by a movie, beginning no later than 12:45 in the Serenity Room. The Movie is, “The House with a Clock in Its Walls” (2018). “Ten-year-old Lewis goes to live with his oddball uncle in a creaky old house that contains a mysterious ‘tick tock’ noise. He soon learns that Uncle Jonathan and his feisty neighbor, Mrs. Zimmerman, are powerful practitioners of the magic arts. On Monday, February 28 from 10 a.m. in the Fitness Center. All new members of the fitness center must attend this one time orientation. Confirm in the Fitness Center.

Canned Food for a Cause
On Tuesday, February 26 from 10 — 11 a.m. in the Lobby. Join fellow Ateaze members and Ateaze staff in the lobby for a discussion about National Canned Food Month. National Canned Food Month usually refers to the canning of fresh fruits and vegetables, and resources on how to can foods will be discussed and given out during this program. However, it is always nice to donate any extra canned goods you have in your pantry to a good cause. If you can, bring 2 canned goods with you to this program. These canned goods will go towards the Ateaze Food Pantry located in the 2nd floor lobby.

Hot Breakfast w/a Twist
On Thursday, February 28 from 9:30 — 10:30 a.m. in the Cafeteria. Join us for a delicious breakfast among fellow Ateaze members. February is National Hot Breakfast Month, and we want to help keep you warm and fed! The breakfast will include French toast, eggs, choice of sausage or bacon, mimosas, orange juice, and coffee. Savor your breakfast while you listen to fancy French music. Ticket cost is $5. Purchase your ticket at the front desk no later than Monday, February 25.
