I had the honor to take part in the American Economy Briefing Call last week where I had the chance to be part of a conference call with Larry Kudlow, who is the director of the White House National Economic Council for the Trump Administration.

There is a lot of talk of a recession, but as Mr. Kudlow explained, that is far from the truth.

According to the latest numbers from Mr. Kudlow’s office, the economy grew by 3.5 percent in the last quarter. Since President Trump took office over six million new jobs and unemployment at the lowest rate for 50 years. The economy is roaring right now.

The talk of a recession is a fear technique created by the media and the national Democratic Party. I believe they are trying to induce a recession by spreading fear. It is all about perception. If people think there is going to be a recession, they will stop spending which could cause an actual recession.

The President has also been criticized for his Trade War with China by charging tariffs. We have to stand up to China. They have been charging tariffs on our products for decades and China has manipulated their currency. This must be addressed and I support the President’s tough stance on China.

Don’t get fooled by the media with their talk on a recession or tariffs, our economy is doing great for now and for the foreseeable future.
