To the Editor:

I was very upset when I read the portion of the article "Housing Development Sparks Concern Over Environment" referring to the Baltimore County Public Schools' website.

Originally, the website showed the boundary for the development being planned at the Sparrows Point Country Club was to be Edgemere Elementary, General John Stricker Middle School and Patapsco High School. After discussions and meetings concerning this project the boundary was corrected to be Edgemere Elementary, Sparrow Point Middle School and Sparrows Point High School.

I'm sure this was not a typo or simple error but a deliberate misleading of Edgemere and Sparrows Point residents of the damage this development will bring to our communities. Not only is this development a threat to the environment and to infrastructure, but also to our already overcrowded schools. This project should be suspended until all damage affects can be honestly evaluated and addressed by the residents of these communities.
