To the Editor,

I cannot see how Del. Charles Sydnor got to “lynchings targeting African Americans” from Del. Robin Grammer’s comments regarding “white collar corruption in public office cannot be tolerated”. Is Del Sydnor suggesting that if the person in public office that has been found guilty of corruption should be excused if that person is of African American heritage??

In the seventies we had a saying “if you’re not part of the solution then you’re part of the problem” and if Del Sydnor can read hatred and lynchings from Del. Grammer’s comments then Del Sydnor is most definitely part of the problem. The average American citizen doesn’t care what race the public official is, he just wants criminal activity to be punished.
