To the editor:

As a senior on a fixed income, this issue of toll relief is very appealing to me. I’ve lived in Edgemere for 40 years and recently have found myself no longer crossing the Key Bridge due to the high cost of tolls.

I used to enjoy shopping in Glen Burnie but no longer can justify spending $6 in tolls to run my errands. More importantly, I’ve had to change my long-time physician after his office moved over the bridge. The cost of tolls is forcing me to give up amenities and services that I’ve always enjoyed.

A break in tolls would allow me the flexibility and freedom to visit my doctor and run errands conveniently.
