Precinct 12 — Dundalk

May 7:

Attempted First Degree Assault

Wise Avenue and Burnham Road 21222

At 12:03 p.m., police arrived and found the suspect in the middle of the road pounding on vehicles and attempting to gain entry into a vehicle. Before police arrived, the suspect damaged one victim’s vehicle and produced a knife. Two bystanders diverted the suspect’s attention when he displayed a second knife and walked aggressively toward them. Officers arrived on the scene and gained control of the suspect.

700 Block of New Pittsburgh Avenue 21222

Between 8:30 p.m. May 7 and 1:28 a.m. May 8, an unknown suspect entered the victim’s residence then stole several items before leaving.

May 8:

First Degree Assault

2300 Block of North Point Boulevard 21222

At 1:56 p.m., the known suspect and the victim were involved in a road rage incident on 695. The vehicles pulled into the Walmart parking lot and then both drivers exited their vehicle and began a verbal argument. The suspect then grabbed a metal rod from his car and struck the victim several times causing injury to his arm and left ear. The suspect was arrested.

May 11:

First Degree Assault

Dundalk Avenue and Pine Avenue 21222

At 2:40 p.m., Baltimore County Police officers responded to a threat against the victim. The victim directed them to McDonald’s where she knew the suspect was located. The suspect hid from the officers, then emerged from the side of the building and displayed a handgun. The suspect ran towards the victim who ran for help. The identified suspect fled the area.

Precinct 11 — Essex

May 6:

Attempted Second Degree Burglary

Unit Block of Kingston Road 21220

At 2:47 a.m., an unknown suspect attempted to break into the Tobacco Outlet.and broke a window with a hammer to try to make entry then ran away. At 3 a.m., the suspect returned and pulled himself up to the window and tried to climb in but he didn’t fit and set off the alarm. The suspect never entered and fled the scene after hearing the alarm.

First Degree Burglary

2400 Block of Hawthorne Road 21220

At 5:30 a.m., the unknown suspect broke into the victim’s residence, stole various items inside, then stole the victim’s vehicle. The vehicle was recovered.

Robbery

200 Block of Wampler Road 21220

At 7:02 p.m., two unknown suspects, each armed with a gun, robbed the two victims at gunpoint. The suspects stole the victims’ purses then fled.

May 7:

First Degree Burglary

2100 Block of Vailthorn Road 21221

Between 12:30 a.m. and 5 a.m., an unknown suspect entered the victims’ residence and stole several items. The residence doors and windows were all secured.

First Degree Burglary

300 Block of Margaret Avenue 21221

Between 6 p.m. May 7 and 11 a.m. May 8, an unknown suspect entered the victim’s residence then stole the victim’s property.

Robbery

9800 Block of Langs Road 21220

At 11:35 p.m., three unknown suspects assaulted and robbed the victim. The suspects took the victim’s car keys, then stole the victim’s vehicle.
