Three people were injured, one of whom has died, in knife incidents in the area over the past week, according to police.
On Monday evening, county police were dispatched to a stabbing on the 2800 block of North Point Road just after 11:29 p.m.
The two involved “know each other and had a disagreement,” police said, where one stabbed the other, causing non life-threatening injuries.
Police located and arrested Christopher John Alias, 46, of Dundalk. He was charged with attempted second-degree murder as well as first- and second-degree assault.
On Saturday, the Baltimore Police Department shut down Dundalk Ave. within the city limits after being dispatched to a report of an individual who was cut, according to a release from the department.
At a location just north of Holabird Avenue, on the 1700 block of Dundalk Avenue, they located a 30-year-old man with wounds sustained from a “sharp edged object,” police said in the release.
The man was transported to Johns Hopkins Bayview, where he died, police said.
Police had not made any arrests when the Eagle went to press this week. Those with information on that incident are encouraged to call city homicide detectives at 410-396-2100.
The homicide followed a prior stabbing on Shipping Place last Wednesday evening, where an adult man was stabbed in the upper body, according to county police.
Police said the man’s injuries were “non-life threatening” and that the incident was isolated.
No arrests in that case were made as of press time.
