A total of 52 putters flocked to the Rocky Point Golf Course on a brisk Tuesday morning for the Greater Dundalk Chamber of Commerce’s golf tournament.

Although no golfers made the $10,000 hole-in-one challenge on the fourth hole, a foursome made up of Paul Lawgrehr, Jeffery Ryan, Mike Ryan and Wayne Frazier won first place, having tied in their total score of 62 with Joe Gordon, Joe Gordon, Jr., John Ruke and Rhianna Stitt.

Woody Powell, Bob Auppereley, Jim Commotto and Ken Westry won third with 64 points total.

Powell also won the longest drive award on the fifth hole. George Lopez, Hunter Alchin and Jeff Ryan were recognized for hitting the ball closest to the pin on the mens’ side, and Maria V. Koszalka was closest on the ladies’ side.

The tournament on Tuesday benefited the Greater Dundalk Foundation, and was presented by the Parkville IT-support company Hammett Technologies.

The Dundalk Eagle is a corporate partner with the Greater Dundalk Chamber of Commerce, where Eagle Editor Dan Belson is a board member.
