DUNDALK — Local indoor track teams had two individual region champions during the Class 3A Central Region meet last week at the 5th Regiment Armory.

Malik Brown won the regional pole vault championship, clearing a height of 10 feet 4 inches. Angelo Cromwell tied for fourth in the event with a height of 8 feet 4 inches.

Patapsco’s Erin Palmer won the 55-meter hurdles in 8.7, and also finished second in the 55-meter dash with a time of 7.6.

The Dundalk boys team finished in fifth place. Digital Harbor won the team title by a 90-73 margin over Baltimore Poly. Towson finished third with 67 points, followed by Milford Mill (51), Dundalk (57), Franklin (55), Chesapeake-Anne Arundel (33) Baltimore City College (27) and Woodlawn (17).

Taishaun Craddock finished second in the 55-meter hurdles (8.04) and the 300-meter dash (38.26) for the Owls. He also took fifth in the 55-meter dash (6.88).

Dundalk’s Jordan Williams finished fourth in the 55-meter dash (6.85.

The 800-meter relay of Craddock, Williams, Marquis Marable and Se’Vion Thompson was third with a time of 1:38.33.

Dundalk took seventh in the 1,600-meter relay as Andy Portillo, Brown, Marable and Adam Lmansour ran 3:57.85.

Thomas Hamby finished fourth in the shotput (36-7).

Keyona Henry took second in the shotput for the Dundalk girls with a distance of 29-2.

Chesapeake-AA won the girls team title over Woodlawn, 85-76. Dundalk finished in 10th place with eight points.

The Patapsco girls took eighth place with 18 points.
